We are a small team working on the Tracking & Planning components of Rational Team Concert (RTC) (http://jazz.net/projects/rational-team-concert/) in Zurich, Switzerland. Our team belongs to IBM's world wide distributed Jazz team so that we rely on an electronic wallboard. It shows what's important to us: Build Health, Inbox, and Progress.
In the middle, it counts down remaining days and has a burndown chart. Below that we see the current build status and its trends. The right slot of our wallboard is dedicated to our inbox. It shows a tag cloud of all tickets, a bar chart for severe issues, and the most recently updated tickets. The left shows the fix rate per day (over the last sprints), a comparison between the teams, and the latest tweets @JazzDotNet.
The wallboard runs in a browser put to fullscreen mode. It's an ordinary RTC Dashboard plus a little Greasemonkey script that helps with the styling. All data is live and comes from the RTC repository. Choosing the location was a strategic decision: You pass it when you get a coffee and you are at it when you get sweets and fruits. You can also take it to your work place by pointing your browser to it's URL.
